Bottom line is, when I originally started the ZEMulator project, I was doing it in my spare time as a hobby while working as a network admin for the university of florida. At the point when I decided to take on the Z32 as a profession, the idea of working for free didn't exactly cut the mustard anymore. Revenues generated from sales of the products I offer are what enable me to continue developing new products, not to mention, put a roof over my head, food on the table, etc etc... Perhaps one day when I am no longer offering products/services to the Z32 community I will put it up for free, but keep in mind, one will still be looking at purchasing the hardware for it which is still $300.
